About this file

This document is a set of vendor questions and answers for Solicitation Number 36C25625Q0878 for Restroom Janitorial Services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. The Q&A covers critical details including scope of work, performance metrics, past performance requirements, subcontracting, insurance, certification needs, and specific service expectations. Key clarifications include: the contract involves cleaning restrooms and associated areas like anterooms (approximately 500 sq ft of VCT flooring), requires IEHA Certification, allows both government and private sector past performance references, permits subcontracting within solicitation limitations, and requires a Certification of Insurance. The government will supply batteries for paper towel dispensers and paper for all dispensers, and vendors are instructed to include a separate CLIN for emergency call-outs when submitting quotes.
