About this file
This document is a Special Notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) for the procurement of a replacement part and associated repair and installation services for a Lumera 700 OCT medical device.
The VA is seeking responses from eligible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) capable of procuring, installing, and repairing the Lumera 700 OCT device using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved equipment and technicians. Responses must include details on the vendor's ability to provide the required parts and labor, as well as relevant certifications or proof of OEM authorization. If no eligible SDVOSB responses are received by the June 7, 2024 closing date, the VA intends to make a sole-source award to PROAIM AMERICAS, LLC, the only authorized vendor for repair and labor of equipment made by Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc. Interested vendors must submit all relevant information electronically to the Contract Specialist, Luke Miles, by the closing date and time. Submissions that are late or do not contain verifiable information on the contractor's ability to meet OEM requirements will be deemed non-responsive, although the government reserves the right to make a sole-source award regardless of responses received.
