Overview
The 6400 electric door strike from Von Duprin is designed to be modular and highly configurable to fit nearly any mortise or cylindrical lock. This versatile strike allows the installer to insert and lock-in the deadbolt keeper or plug and deadlatch ramp anywhere within its 3-1/8” vertical opening to fit the latch position and functional needs. This, combined with a 1 ⁄8” horizontal adjustment, makes this easy-to-install design a good fit for installations where misalignment or a tight fit may be a problem.
As a 3-hour UL 10C listed strike, the 6400 Series is intended as a fail-secure only solution for fire-rated openings. Its durability and quality are shown by its UL 1034 listing, heavy-duty stainless steel construction and over 2,000,000 cycles endurance testing.
Use it as a time-saving, “go to” strike. The 6400 comes ready for use with prewired plug-in connectors for 12 or 24 VDC voltage that can be changed over to 12 or 24 VAC without a converter kit, two faceplates – one each for offset and centerline locks as well as a trim filler plate, mounting tabs and shims and a self-adhesive template for frame cuts. An optional “plug in” latchbolt monitor is also available and can be added in the field at any time after installation.

Technical Data Guide Polyether Technology CSI Section No. 07 92 13
Product Description M-1CR (clean room) is solvent-free, extremely low VOC, moisture curing, polyether adhesive-sealant designed for application in areas where outgassing and solvents are not tolerated. It releases virtually no molecular air contamination and contains no isocyanates. M-1CR will not shrink upon curing, will not discolor when exposed to UV light, and can not “out-gas” on damp surfaces as is common with urethane sealants. The product has resilient “elastomeric” properties and excellent adhesion to most construction materials. M-1CR is designed for environments where molecular airborne contamination can impact human health or clean room manufacturing operations and is specified for biomedical, electronic and aerospace clean rooms.

Application Instructions M-1CR is a gun grade material that is applied from caulking guns, high viscosity pump guns, or automated bead application equipment. This product sets rapidly upon exposure to moisture. All application equipment must be clean and dry before using M-1CR. Open containers must be quickly protected from atmospheric moisture. Guns, pumps and hoses must be sealed when not in use.
• Mask off areas that must be protected from adhesives.
• Apply adhesive to one side of the assembly.
Do not use excessive adhesive. Beads can vary in size from 1/16 inch to 3/8 inch diameter for best application control.
• Compress beads firmly between substrates to set bonds. Presses and clamps are usually not required.
• Allow the assembly to cure for 30 minutes to an hour before handling or machining. When bonding two impermeable materials, brief separation and reassembly of the bonding surfaces to expose the adhesive to atmospheric moisture, will often accelerate the cure.
• In extremely dry environments, local humidification may be needed to initiate curing. Low temperature will retard the cure reaction and heat will accelerate the cure reaction. Optimum application is between 60°F to 100°F (16°C to 38°C).
Substrate Preparation Bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oxidation, mill oils, wax, and release agents that may interfere with adhesion. Dry and fully cure painted surfaces before bonding. Alcohol and ammonia water are effective cleaners for surface preparation. Abraded or irregular surfaces are acceptable bonding surfaces but must be clean and sound. All substrates must be free of manufacturing defects.* *Test all substrates for bond strength and compatibility before application.

TAC® offers three access control modules to meet the demands of different access requirements:
AC-1:
Use the AC-1 when powering modules from a Andover Continuum power supply. (AC-1 has a 24VDC power input only. ) The AC-1 supports Wiegand/Prox cards and 5 V/12 V reader power (switch-selectable).
AC-1A:
Use the AC-1A if you are powering modules from a local 12VDC power supply. The AC-1A offers an extended 10-28VDC power input. (Power supply can also power any 12 V prox readers you may be using.) The AC-1A supports Wiegand/Prox cards, and 5 V reader power only.
AC-1PLUS:
The enhanced version. Use the AC-1Plus when using mag stripe or Cardkey readers, ADA sequences that require extra inputs, special door unlock/door ajar times for disabled persons, and jobs that require reader tamper detection. The AC-1Plus offers an extended 10-28VDC power input (power supply can also power 12 V prox readers), and supports 5 V reader power only.

AC-1
I/O Module The AC-1provides full I/O for an access controlled door or portal in one compact module. The AC-1 can be located near an access controlled door for localized control and reduced wiring costs; or several AC-1 modules can be grouped together and DIN rail-mounted for centralized control.
The AC-1 provides a Wiegand card input for Wiegand swipe and proximity type cards, reading up to 64 bits per card. Reader power is switch-selectable between 5V and 12V to meet most card reader power requirements.
The AC-1 has two 5 A, Form C relays—one for the door lock and a second for local alarm annunciation. Each output has an integral hand-off-auto switch for manual operation, and software feedback of the switch position.
Up to three supervised alarm inputs can be used for door status contacts, request-to-exit devices, a cabinet tamper switch, or any other two-state or three-state (on/off/trouble) alarm device.
Keypad Control The AC-1 supports Wiegand output keypads. To simplify installation and reduce wiring costs, the keypad data comes into the module via the reader data lines.
Access Control During normal operation of the AC-1, access decisions are made in the Andover Continuum NetController CPU , which provides storage for up to 75,000 “local” personnel records. In addition, the NetController’s event buffer is software-configurable to allow for the most optimized memory usage.
If network communications are interrupted, the AC-1 will revert to a programmable degrade mode of operation, providing uninterrupted card access using site codes and other degrade mode parameters stored in non-volatile EEPROM in each AC-1 module.
A door can be configured to operate based on site code only, site code plus card, card plus personal ID number (PIN), or keypad only. The door’s operating mode can even be changed based on time-of-day or other events for optimum flexibility through TAC’s easy-to-use Andover Plain English programming language. Each keypad can also permit entry of a duress alarm code that can initiate an alarm sequence at any AC-1 controller or at the Andover Continuum workstation.
Time-based anti-passback and entry/egress anti-passback are available to prevent tailgating. Entry/ egress anti-passback is system-wide and can be performed by readers located on different AC-1 controllers across the network.
Using Andover Plain English, the AC-1 can also be used for custom access control sequences such as two-man rule, optical turnstile control, and man trap configurations.

Intrusion Systems | DS160 Series High Performance Request‑to‑exit Detectors
The DS160 Series consists of the DS160 Detector (light gray) and the DS161 Detector (black) specifically designed for Request-to-exit (REX) applications. With features such as timers, door monitor with sounder alert, and pointable coverage, the DS160 and DS161 have the flexibility to meet the most stringent REX requirements.
The exclusive Sequential Logic Input (SLI) provides added security that is not offered in any other REX device.
Functions
Sequential Logic Input (SLI) The SLI terminal allows connection of a second device to require sequential detection. This eliminates the possibility that an object that is slid through the door or underneath the door will activate the detector. This input can also be used to lock the sensor if motion is present outside the premises.
Door Monitor The sensor can monitor a door contact to allow special control of the internal relay. For example, if the door is opened within the relay time period, the sensor can be programmed to halt the timer. If the door is not opened within a specific time period, the relay can be programmed to deactivate.
Sounder Alert An integrated sounder can be programmed to activate if the door is left open too long. The sounder volume is fully adjustable to 85 dB.
Keycard Input The keycard input allows the sensor relay to be controlled from an external source, such as an access control system or card reader.
