Answer: See updated lighting schedule in revised drawings E000
16. Can additional detail be provided for the data system in this project? I cannot find any information in the drawings for the desired locations for data ports.
Answer: See revised electrical power plan. E101
17. On the dimensioned floor plan, AS-111 shows the Non-Hazardous buffer room and the Ante Room has a width of 8’. However, on page AS-301 lists the width of the automatic doors at 9’ which is wider than the area. Scope of work has different dimensions. Please provide the correct dimensions.
Answer: See revised door schedule. AS621
18. In the scope of work on page 2, part 3.1.7 states that the perimeter of the pharmacy shall be reinforced slab to slab with 9 gauge expanded metal. This section also states that the mesh barrier system shall be spot welded inside the hospital. Will the VA permit the contractor to follow the manufacturers recommended installation methods? We are trying to avoid unnecessary welding inside the hospital. Also can additional detail be provided on the drawing on which walls this system is desired on?
Answer: Yes, this is necessary for all perimeter walls of the pharmacy spaces. Interior perimeter of rooms 4C-326, 4C-325, 4C-327, 4C-324, 4C-323. See Annotated Floor Plan to see marked perimeter
