· Under the Statement of Work, Item 12 (a) and (b) – it is requesting stat deliveries during “non-working” hours. In my experience, PET procedures are not done as a stat exam during non-working hours, nor is FDG typically available for after-hours add-ons due to the extremely short half-life and difficulty in producing the product. Can you please confirm is after-hours same day add-on stat doses are in fact needed at the VA Houston? I’m assuming it will not be necessary, but if so, we’d need some additional information/clarification on this.
YES-we May have to do add on PTs late in the day ~5 pm or may need a Saturday delivery
· As for stat deliveries during normal working hours, for sites that are over 1 hour away that require stat deliveries, we meet this requirement by providing daily contingency doses based on the site’s needs. The customer is then only billed for the contingency doses that they use. Would this be acceptable?
NO. Not acceptable.
