About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 36C25527Q0002, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 in Leavenworth, Kansas on August 3, 2026. The amendment does not extend the solicitation due date and provides answers to vendor questions submitted in response to the original solicitation.

The requirement is for non-personal, on-site nephrology physician services in support of Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Wichita, Kansas. The work encompasses approximately 0.15 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) consisting of an estimated 264 hours annually for Thursday half-day clinics and potential call-back services (208 hours clinic plus 56 hours call-back), 3,184 hours of on-call coverage per year, and 64 hours of weekend/holiday rounds when on-call. Pricing shall be submitted on an hourly basis using the table in Section B.2 Schedule of Services. Thursday clinic work is performed on-site at the VAMC, while on-call providers must be able to report to the VAMC within 60 minutes if callback is required. The Government will provide workspace, equipment, EMR access, and required resources. The solicitation was not set-aside for SDVOSB due to extensive market research. Multiple providers may be utilized to satisfy the requirement. An incumbent contract exists (36C25521P0416). Subcontracting is permitted within specified FAR limitations, and subcontracting plans or justification letters must be included with quotation submissions. Only resumes are required with proposal submission, not letters of commitment. Average patient volume includes 2-8 inpatients per day and 8-10 outpatients weekly. Credentialing typically takes approximately 30 days and privileging approximately 14 business days. Travel, lodging, and per diem are not reimbursable. Overtime is not authorized.
