About this file

This document is Amendment 0002 to a solicitation issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, located in Leavenworth, Kansas. The amendment provides final questions and answers for the "BCMA Outpatient Medication Barcode Scanners | VISN 15" procurement with solicitation number 36C25526Q0427, originally issued on June 17, 2026. The quote submission deadline remains July 22, 2026 by 11:00 a.m. Central Time. No change to the quote due date was made through this amendment.

The questions and answers section clarifies key requirements for the barcode scanner equipment. The procurement confirms that the BCMA (Barcode Medication Administration) use case is for patient bedside application. The scanners will be placed on workstations on wheels (WoWs) or mobile carts used in the outpatient setting, specifically positioned on the flat surface of the cart rather than mounted on an articulating arm. Teresa Cabanting serves as the Contracting Officer for this procurement. The amendment requires offerors to acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the submission deadline by completing the form, acknowledging receipt on their offer copies, or submitting a separate letter or electronic communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.

Answer: Confirming yes, it does.

Wheels (“WoWs”) or fixed workstations), if fixed workstations, will these be workstations within a cabinet, or on an articulating arm) –
