About this file

This is a Presolicitation Notice for an emergency purchase of a Medtronic ManoScan ESO Z Catheter by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office located in Leavenworth, Kansas. The solicitation (36C25525Q0508) is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC) with a response deadline of August 14, 2025, at 8:00 AM Central Time. The procurement is for one advanced medical catheter with specific technical specifications, including 36 channels, 432 measurement points, 18 impedance channels, 96 3D channels, and a small 2.7mm diameter designed to create physiological pressure maps from pharynx to stomach.

The solicitation includes specific requirements for the catheter, such as a one-year manufacturer's warranty or coverage for 150 uses, whichever occurs first. The contractor will be responsible for installation and end-user training, with on-site work limited to normal business hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday), excluding specified government holidays. The catheter will be used at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, which currently lacks this specific medical equipment and requires an emergency purchase to complete essential medical services.
