About this file

This document consists of questions and answers related to a solicitation for physical security upgrades at the Eastern Kansas Health Care System. The key details are:

The solicitation, number 36C25524Q0379, is for improving video surveillance and security at two VA medical center locations in Leavenworth and Topeka, Kansas. The project requires installing a total of 4 cameras and 7 video intercoms across the two sites. The cameras must be mounted on the buildings at heights between the 2nd floor and roof. Existing network infrastructure can be utilized, including network switches and patch panels. The contractor will need to replace 5 existing cameras and remove those. The period of performance is 1 year. The solicitation allows for substitutions of equivalent or better products if original models are no longer available. There is an existing CCure9000 access control system that will integrate with the new cameras, potentially including doorbell cameras at 2-3 access control doors. The government can provide site drawings showing locations of existing and new equipment.
