No, but we are requesting a portal to login and view status, etc.
7. Will you supply the content filtering policies?
Yes
8. Any requirement for redundant Internet bandwidth service?
No, but 99% uptime is required, by whatever means you have to employ.
9. Could we obtain copies of all site diagrams, equipment lists, and any other ancillary information/data that were distributed during the site visit on May 28, 2019?
See the attached Floor Diagrams
10. Is the VA aware of any building/site locations with asbestos or other potentially hazardous environmental conditions still in place? If so, could the VA please provide a list of these sites and the types of conditions present in each?
At this time, there is not any none hazardous environmental conditions.
11. Could the VA please clarify if there was an Amendment 0002? On the FBO.gov website, it lists Amendment 2 posted on May 23, but all of the 3 documents posted there are marked with an “Amendment 0003” type of filename. If there was any Amendment 0002, could the VA please provide the additional document(s)?
There was not a published Amendment 0002. There was only two amendments published.
P00001 and P0003.
12. The equipment listings show an additional site not mentioned in the original RFQ:
Marshfield VA Clinic, with an address of 1240 Banning Street, Marshfield, MO 65706‐2390.
Should we include this CBOC site in our price quotes as well?
Yes
13. The address for the Jefferson City VA Clinic is listed in the RFQ as: 2707 W Edgewood, Jefferson City, MO 65109. The address shown for this clinic on the VA’s Columbia, MO website is listed as: 3430 West Edgewood Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109‐6961. 14. The text in #8 states, “8. The contractor shall be responsible for the design, configuration and installation of all cabling, access points, switches, and routers needed for the VGIA.” How do we comply with this deliverable if we’re using existing GFE?
15. The text in #13 states, “13. The contractor shall provide service availability with an expected uptime of no less than 99%.” Does this SLA only apply to business hours?
NO, this would refer to 24/7/365
16. The text in #14 states, “14. The contractor shall provide the Internet bandwidth specified by the HSTMVH to provide a satisfactory user experience for customers using the VGIA service. The minimum acceptable service speed shall be a high‐speed circuit with 100 Mbps upload and 1
Gbps download delivered over an appropriately sized WAN. Does the VA expect a 1 Gbps download/100 Mbps upload speed at all locations, regardless of size and daily average patient traffic? Or, would the VA accept a reduced bandwidth at some of the smaller/more remote sites, at a lower total cost to the VA?
Facility would allow 100mbps at CBOCs instead of 1GB. The 1gb is mostly warranted at the main facility.
18. The text in #17 states, “17. The contractor shall be responsible for the purchase of all cabling, access points, switches, and routers needed for the VGIA infrastructure.” Could the VA please clarify this statement, as our understanding is that this RFQ describes a takeover of an existing network?
19. The text in #20 states, “20. The contractor will be required to allow the HSTMVH to add equipment to an exemption list that will not have to accept the terms and conditions of the network.” Can the VA please furnish the firmware revisions of all hardware to validate functionality?
We do not have access to that at this point in time.
20. As it appears that we will be inheriting an existing functional Wi‐Fi network, could the VA please clarify if all of these Project Responsibilities are actually necessary, especially those mentioning installation?
If new areas are opened, there would need to be increased wifi capabilities, therefore the installation of new equipment may be necessary
