All other terms and conditions remain the same

AARON ROGERS

Here are our Questions:

1. What was the previous awarded Solicitation Number, Date awarded and awarded value?

36C25218P1552 (base plus four Option Years total: $147,758.16)

2. What is the amount of hours each month the previous contractor spent on site at each location to provide the pest services to all areas outlined within the scope of service?

Unknown, varies on the contractor and when services were required. The VA does not track these visits, as some are only used “as needed”. Each contractor is expected to develop their own individual pest management (IPM) plan in accordance with the SOW.

3. How many after hours service requests at each site have then been in the past 12 months?

Unknown

4. What are the regular service days for these sites?

That will be determined by the contractor awarded the contract and the COR after award and the IPM developed by them.

5. What is the number of bed bug service requests at each site over the past 12 months?

Approximately 30 times in a given contract period

6. Has any of the scope of service changed from this Solicitation compared to that of the last awarded contract? If so, what changed or was added?

The four transient houses currently in the statement of work were added in OY 4 of the contract.

7. How many service calls for Canada Geese services occurred over the past 12 months?

Approximately 10 times

8. How many service calls for Waterfowl services occurred over the past 12 months?

Approximately 8 times

9. The government indicated that scabies and lice are included as covered pests. Does the government understand that as per the United States CDC that scabies and lice are not considered pest industry concerns but rather medical conditions that require medical treatment.

This can be discussed by the COR and the Contractor awarded the contract.

10. Can the government confirm that the three CBOC locations are regularly serviced monthly?

As stated in the Statement of work, “IPM for the CBOC locations is the responsibility of the Building Manager and is not a requirement for this contract. Services at the CBOCs are only to remedy those insects brought in by patients and include, but are not limited to: Bedbugs, Scabies, Lice, Roaches, Fleas, etc., on an individual on-call basis”

11. Can the government confirm the current number of flying Insects Control Devices (Fly Lights) at each location? Are these government or contractor owned?

Approximately 6 at each kitchen location
