About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for instrument sharpening and repair services at a Veterans Affairs medical center. The services include weekly sharpening and maintenance of general instruments, scopes, power handpieces, equipment, and case carts located at the medical center and a neighboring naval base. A one-time joint inventory of all surgical instruments is required within 30 days of contract start, and annually thereafter. The base year of performance is 12 months with four optional 12-month extensions. Questions from interested vendors were answered confirming that services include both medical center locations and that repair quantities cannot be pre-determined but will be paid via time and materials billing. The response deadline remains August 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM local time.
