About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) for a Department of Veterans Affairs security services contract at the Fisher House in Cleveland, OH, with solicitation number 36C25025Q0634. The contract is for security guard services from 10/01/2025-09/30/2026, with key details including guard responsibilities such as directing traffic, controlling parking, and conducting patrol services. Important response dates include questions due by 7-8-2025 and quotes due by email on 7-18-2025 at 3 pm EST.

The Q&A section clarifies several operational details: guards will not be provided patrol vehicles, must be licensed, and are restricted from carrying unauthorized personal items. Guards are required to have standard equipment like notebooks, pens, flashlights, and traffic safety apparel. The contract emphasizes that the contractor is responsible for correct worker classification and compliance with Department of Labor wage and hour laws. The technical bid is limited to 10 pages, and the solicitation indicates potential preference for small business categories such as service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, hub zone, 8(a), or women-owned businesses.
