About this file
This document is a Special Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for a sole source procurement of Philips ultrasound transducers.
The VA intends to solicit and negotiate a contract with Philips North America LLC and two authorized Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) distributors, Four Points Technology, LLC and Alliant Enterprises, LLC. The Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center requires two additional Philips FUS9170 3D9-3v transducers to support an increase in pelvic ultrasound exams. These transducers are specific to the Philips EPIQ Elite ultrasound system currently in use, and no other products would be compatible. The VA has determined that Philips and the two SDVOSB distributors are the only sources that can satisfy the agency's requirements. The estimated total value is not provided. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by August 13, 2024, which the VA will consider in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
