1. Is FAR 52.229-3 Federal, State, and Local Taxes applicable to this project?

Yes. FAR 52.229-3 applies to all contracts over SAT, firm-fixed price, and within the US.

2. Please clarify number of drops:

a. Per the “List of End User Devices for Installation” document, it lists a number for each data/power, however it does not clarify if each number is a Single Drop, or a double drop. Please clarify this.

Double Drop

b. On statement of work, there is a link , 4.2 “Infrastructure Standards for Telecommunications Spaces Version 3.0”. This spec , page 180 of 187 shows the standard is :

• 4 category 6A 8P8C outlets for data or telephony for a typical work floor mount outlet (Detail 4 on sheet 30 of 37)

• 4 category 6A 8P8C outlets active for telephony/data for typical high density wall mounted work area (detail 2 on sheet 30 of 37)

• 2 Category 6A 8P8C outlets active for telephony/data for standard density wall mounted work area (detail 1 on sheet 30 of 37)

Follow “Infrastructure Standards for Telecommunications Spaces Version 3.0”

c. Please clarify.

3. Can we get a floor plan for each floor and each building where drops will be installed? Without a floor plan to identify the data closets and room locations we have no way of knowing how many feet each run will be. Need floor plan that shows locations and telecom closets.

Yes, see link: https://drive.max.gov/share/e3ba119ee01ffc74

4. Please clarify Color of cable required.

Follow “Infrastructure Standards for Telecommunications Spaces Version 3.0”

5. Please clarify color of outlets required.

Follow “Infrastructure Standards for Telecommunications Spaces Version 3.0”

6. Does this project require stainless steel faceplates, or standard plastic faceplates? Please clarify.

For power outlets use “stainless steel faceplates”. For data outlets use “standard plastic faceplates”.

7. Are we using local power circuit for power outlets or are we running new circuits from an existing panel?

Use local power circuit for power outlets

a. If new circuits please provide circuit #, panel name and location of panel (shown on floor plan)

NA

8. On location chart, please clarify what “available” means. Does that mean power and data is already there and we don’t need to add? Please verify.

Yes

9. Drawings will be needed to determine location of closets and how much cat6a cable is needed.

See https://drive.max.gov/share/e3ba119ee01ffc74 floor plans

10. Please confirm that the period of performance is 80 calendar days.

Yes

11. The List+of+End+User+Devices+for+Installation+-+Dayton+DDPO indicates certain data and electrical drops as "available". Does this indicate that these drops exist, and that no installation work is required at these locations? If the answer is and work is still required, please define what we are supposed to perform.

Yes

12. The List+of+End+User+Devices+for+Installation+-+Dayton+DDPO pages 1 & 2 have several lines with no data in the Add # Emer Power column. E. g. Page 1, 6th Line from the bottom, Emergency Department 310 1st 1G-110 CCE has no data in the Add # Emer Power column. Can you please confirm if these require or do not require drops?

Does not require a drop

13. For electrical circuits, will we be allowed to tie into the nearest accessible branch circuit or do the proposed circuits all need to be dedicated to the nearest electrical closets?

Tie into the nearest accessible branch circuit

Is there enough room on existing panels in the electrical closets to run the required extra circuits from?

Yes https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdrive.max.gov%2Fshare%2Fe3ba119ee01ffc74&data=04%7C01%7C%7Ca843deb220a744b8669008d98348e7a6%7Ce95f1b23abaf45ee821db7ab251ab3bf%7C0%7C0%7C637685171405607090%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=5UZBC%2BODlfoW0RxmJdqrDbBlCLx7hHYwPqJbv%2Ff0r54%3D&reserved=0
