QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
36C24W-24-Q-0099: Housekeeping Carts/Trash Cans
Q. -We would like to confirm for this solicitation that the delivery is only to the loading dock. Is this correct?
After reading the general conditions and statement of work, we noted the exact room locations for each garbage can/cart.
Is the VA requesting that we distribute the items to each location, as referenced in the statement of work?
On Page 4 of 29 “section 2.4.7. Delivery & Installation includes:” this paragraph references see sections 2.8, 2.9, and 20.10. These sections are not included in the general conditions and statement of work pages 1-29.
A.- Response: No, the VA does not expect delivery to each location. Delivery shall be to the “VAMC Long Beach Off-Site Activation Warehouse” and per direction for “USE OF WAREHOUSE” as indicated on page 4 of 29. Sections 2.8, 2.9, & 2.10 are missing or are not identified as the question noted.
Q. - Since the Delivery will be made to the off-site warehouse, is there still a need for unboxing and discarding of the trash at time of the delivery/staging?
A. -The offsite warehouse is still the location for this delivery please.
A.- There will be no need to unbox the items or manage the trash from delivery/staging as this is not a part of this procurement package.
