About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 36C24926Q0347, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 9 (Murfreesboro, Tennessee) on August 10, 2026. The amendment extends the quotation deadline from August 14, 2026, to August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CDT and identifies Services as the applicable category under VAAR 852.219-75. An optional site visit is scheduled for August 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Building 1 of the Alvin C. York Medical Center, with Dedmon Sibert serving as the point of contact.

The underlying solicitation requires the safe removal of five mature hazardous trees that are dead, hollow, and structurally compromised at the Alvin C. York VAMC located at 3400 Lebanon Pike Road, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The trees are positioned near buildings, pedestrian walkways, hospital signage, parked vehicles, electrical transformers, and other critical infrastructure. Work scope includes cutting trees flush with existing grade only (no stump grinding), restoration of disturbed turf or landscaping areas at no additional cost, daily removal of all tree material and debris from VA property, utility verification and protection, and coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for equipment staging, facility access, badging, parking, and authorized work hours. Contractors must submit up to three relevant past-performance references from the last five years (limited to two pages), and all submissions must acknowledge receipt of this amendment. Offerors should direct technical inquiries regarding wage determinations or job classifications to applicable conformance procedures, and compensation measurement compliance is due by the end of the base contract term and each subsequent option period.
