About this file

This document contains follow-up questions and answers related to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a dental equipment installation or upgrade. Three key technical questions were addressed: (1) input power configuration confirmation (3-phase power), (2) electrical breaker amperage adjustment (downgrade from 20amp to 15amp), and (3) equipment component replacement (removal of a clear solid collector and installation of an HG5 Amalgam Separator). The contractor demonstrated flexibility and capability to accommodate the clinic's technical requirements, specifically confirming they can modify the electrical setup and install the requested new amalgam separator.

Answer: The current setup is 3 phase.

Question 2: If the clinic would like to stay with a 3 phase system, they will need to downgrade the amperage breaker from a 20amp to 15amp, see chart below:

Answer: We will stay with a 3 phase unit, and are capable of downgrading the breaker to a 15 amp in-house.
