About this file
This is a solicitation amendment file (Amendment 0002) containing questions and answers related to a VA solicitation (36C24925Q0135) for a drug information electronic database reference subscription for VISN 9. The amendment clarifies requirements for the subscription service, which must provide a responsive web-based interface accessible via mobile devices, with regular monthly content updates.
Key clarifications include: mobile access can be provided through a responsive web-based interface rather than requiring a separate mobile app; no specific training format requirements or certifications are mandated; and there are no specific preferences for documentation formats, development tools, or project management platforms. Many technical questions regarding database hosting, API integration, and development environments were marked as "N/A", suggesting this is primarily a subscription service rather than custom software development. The service must be accessible both on-site at VISN 9 facilities and remotely through VPN and Citrix Access Gateway.
