About this file

This document is an amendment containing answers to questions related to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for hotel accommodations. The RFQ is for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 9, to provide 425 nights of furnished hotel rooms per year for staff during New Employee Orientation (NEO) and education offerings at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee.

The key details include: the solicitation number is 36C24924Q0422, the contractor will provide 5 rooms every other week for 26 weeks per year (130 rooms per year) over a 5-year period, rooms must be within a 5-mile radius of the medical center and meet a minimum AAA 3-star rating, there is no requirement for complimentary breakfast or shuttle services, and the incumbent contractor was CARNEGIE HOTEL INVESTORS, L.P. for the prior contract from 2017-2022. Pricing is requested in an all-inclusive per diem rate for each of the 5 ordering periods. This is a small business set-aside opportunity.
