About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for UPS Preventative Maintenance Services Solicitation (36C24826Q0801). The document addresses clarifications regarding the scope, equipment specifications, service delivery requirements, and billing procedures for preventative maintenance services on ten uninterruptible power supply units located across multiple buildings.

The incumbent contractor is Antoncecci Power, and services are currently being performed under previous Contract #36C24821P1148. The ten UPS units under contract include Eltek Flatpack2 (48 VDC), Staco FLU-125-00 (125 kVA), Liebert NPower (130 kVA), Staco First Line PLT (30 kVA), APC SUVTPF15KB4F (15 kVA), Active Power Flywheel (150 kVA), Crucial Power Products (50 kVA), Eaton 9E-20 (20/30 kVA), Toshiba G8000 (120 kVA), and Riello MultiPower (140 kVA), with battery counts ranging from 20 to 200 units depending on equipment type. Key clarifications include: subcontracting to OEMs for flywheel UPS service is acceptable; the two-hour on-site requirement is flexible and may be replaced with two-hour phone support and four-hour on-site response; battery replacements and faulty parts not included in preventative maintenance pricing will be handled via separate quotes, Government Purchase Cards (GPC), or contract modifications depending on amount; and each contractor must generate their own test reports based on manufacturer recommendations. Two non-operational units have been removed from the scope, maintaining the total of ten UPS units requiring service.
