About this file

This is an Amendment to Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 for solicitation 36C24826Q0793. The amendment extends the offer receipt deadline from July 1, 2026 at 13:00 EST to July 2, 2026 at 13:00 EDT, provides answers to contractor questions, and revises the Statement of Need accordingly.

The solicitation requires mental health residential bedroom furniture to support Bay Pines VA Healthcare System's reorganization of its Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program and a new Compensated Work Therapy-Transitional Residence program. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, materials, and furniture installation for eight line items: Norix Titian footboard kit, headboard kit, end frame bolt down kit with glides, bed panel base bunkable lift deck bed with steel drawers (model TNT1111), nightstand with steel drawers (model TNT2029), sealed seam mattress (36" x 80" x 6"), passive locking glide kit, and multipurpose unit with accessories. All items are specified as brand name or equal, with salient characteristics requiring GREENGUARD Gold certification, steel construction with powder coating, sealed seams for bed bug resistance, institutional-grade durability, and Made-in-USA sourcing. Key performance requirements include project management and coordination, site visit for field measurement, three design revisions, free furniture storage for up to 90 days, delivery to Bay Pines Boulevard in Bay Pines, Florida, maintenance manuals provision, and a kickoff meeting within ten days of task order issuance. The amendment clarifies that glides are required (not bolt-down kit), drawers are required below the bed deck, steel drawers are specified for the bed, and model TNT2029 is the correct nightstand model.
