Questions and Answers

1. Is there a full Statement of Work, salient characteristics document, or equipment specification sheet available for this requirement? SOW is found in section B.2 of the RFQ

1. Is there a specific brand/model being requested, or is this strictly brand name or equal? Brand name or equal – must work with the CLM dryer it is for, and the design from roof top mounting to ground lint removal.

1. Does the requirement include installation, removal of existing equipment, rigging, ductwork, electrical/plumbing connections, startup, and training? Yes, all of this is in the SOW – only the prior lint collector’s mounting is still on the roof. The previous lint collector has been removed. Ductwork is still there.

1. Is a site visit required or recommended prior to quote submission? Recommended. Quotes will still be accepted for review.

1. Are there any roof-mounting, hurricane protection, lightning protection, or facility-specific installation requirements? Yes, that is in the SOW

1. Should pricing be broken out by equipment, freight, installation, removal/disposal, and training? Yes

1. Are there any required attachments beyond UEI, DSBS SDVOSB certification, supporting pricing documentation, and the items listed in Addendum to FAR 52.212-1? No. All instruction for quote submission are found under Provision 52.212-1 and 52.212-1 – Addendum.
