About this file
This is an Amendment to a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Services issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 in Tampa, Florida. The solicitation (RFQ 36C24826Q0064) is for IONM services including an on-site IONM Technologist and remote Board-Certified Neurophysiologist oversight, with a base period from 06/17/2026 to 06/16/2027 and four additional one-year option periods through 06/16/2031. The contract is set aside for small businesses, and the incumbent is Neurology Mobile System Associates Inc.
Key updates in this amendment include answering vendor questions, updating the service schedule, and modifying staff certification requirements. Specifically, neurophysiologist physicians can now be board certified by either the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) or the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), and must possess a Fellowship in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring. The solicitation provides detailed case volume information, with 290 Neurosurgery and 384 Vascular surgery cases over the past 24 months, involving three Neurosurgeons and three Vascular surgeons. The estimated case concurrency is one to two cases simultaneously, with a target award date of March 2026 and service start date of 06/17/2026.
