The purpose of this amendment is to:
1. Provide responses to vendor questions received during the solicitation period.
1. Schedule a site visit for August 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST at the Perry CBOC location.
1. Extend the quotation submission deadline to August 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST.
All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.
Vendor Questions on Solicitation 36C24826Q0002
1) Florida Licensing – Is a Florida state business license required in order to submit a quote or be awarded the contract as an out-of-state SDVOSB vendor?
a) Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that it is the responsibility of each offeror to ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including any business licensing, workers’ compensation, and insurance requirements. The Government does not provide legal advice or interpret state or local law on behalf of vendors.
Offerors are encouraged to consult with their legal counsel, insurance providers, or the appropriate state and local agencies to determine any requirements applicable to performance under this contract in the State of Florida.
2) Insurance Requirements – Are there specific insurance coverages (e.g., general liability, workers’ compensation) that must be provided prior to award or start of performance?
a) See Answer to Question 1
3) Vendor Registration – Beyond SAM.gov, is registration with any Florida state procurement system or tax agency required?
a) See Answer to Question 1
4) Background Checks and Badging – Will janitorial staff need VA-issued badges or background checks? If so, what is the timeline and process?
a) Answered and addressed in Statement of Work

5) Onboarding Timeline – If awarded, is there a transition or onboarding period expected prior to the October 1, 2025, start date?
a) The period of performance for this contract begins on October 1, 2025. If there are any onboarding, transition, or site access requirements that must be completed prior to the start date, those will be coordinated with the designated Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) upon award. At this time, no pre-performance activities are anticipated unless otherwise directed in the solicitation or by the COR after award.
Please ensure your team is fully prepared to begin performance on the first day of the period of performance.
6) Will a site visit be offered as this is required for an accurate and complete quote.
a) A site visit was not originally contemplated or scheduled for this requirement. However, due to the high volume of requests there will be a site visit on August 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST. The vendors are expected to meet at the main entrance for sign in with the Contracting Officer and Representatives of the requiring facility.
7) What is the FTE of the facility. Needed to estimate proper amount of consumable product.
a) Daily there is an estimated 9 Employees and 14 Patients.
