About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for the Department of Veterans Affairs solicitation 36C24825Q0796, addressing a Library Management System upgrade for Medical Media at the Orlando VA Healthcare System. The amendment provides a comprehensive question and answer section that clarifies key details about the project, including:

Contractors will need to validate the integrity of existing library management system files before transferring them to a new media server. The project requires training for 8 Medical Media personnel, involves no changes to existing system drawings from 2016, and has specific requirements around equipment, software, and supplies. Key technical considerations include: no additional rack space for simultaneous system operation during data migration, a need to address potential server cooling capabilities, and a requirement for contractors to demonstrate they meet or exceed specified system characteristics. Quotes are due by email to benjamin.amato@va.gov no later than 06/20/2025 at 13:00 hrs EDT, with no proposal due date extension granted.
