About this file
This document is a Medical Gas Bulk Supply Inspection Report for the VA Lake City facility. The report provides a detailed inspection of the oxygen bulk supply system, including assessments of the installation and contractor qualifications, site conditions, equipment, labeling, testing, and alarm functionality. Key findings indicate issues with the concrete pad, pipe leaks, accessibility, and the need for a comprehensive site assessment.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (Solicitation Number: 36C24824Q0673) for "Bulk Oxygen Gas Repair" services at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System. This is a commercial item Request for Quotations (RFQ) for an annual full-service contract with a base year plus four option years. The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Interested offerors must attend a mandatory site visit on 04/02/2024 and submit quotations by 04/08/2024.
