About this file
This document is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 36C24727Q0048 issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. The amendment extends the offer receipt deadline to November 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST and publicly posts 27 questions and answers that were submitted in response to the original solicitation that expired on October 22, 2026.
The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide Medicaid Application Assistance services at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, with an estimated 48 referrals annually from the North Charleston, South Carolina CBOC and catchment areas including Charleston, North Charleston, and Myrtle Beach. Key requirements include: meeting with veterans or their healthcare representatives (face-to-face preferred, with occasional virtual contact permitted only using VA-approved equipment); completing Medicaid applications within 72 hours of receiving the VA referral (excluding weekends and holidays); gathering required documentation; and providing follow-up services. The contractor must furnish its own equipment and assumes responsibility for all training on the VA's application process. The incumbent contractor is TGB3 Enterprises LLC (contract 36C24721P0799) with a referral volume of 48 annually. Offers must be submitted by email to Aunjelaca.miller@va.gov with no maximum attachment size. No specific certifications or prior Medicaid experience are required, though past performance is an evaluation criterion. The contract price will be adjusted based on the actual number of referrals initiated and processed, and payments will be made monthly and/or quarterly. Background checks and security vetting typically require 30-60 days. The applicable wage determination for FAR 52.222-41 is SCA WD# 2015-4427.
