About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for GSA Solicitation 36C24726Q0795, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for Guldmann Ceiling Lift Preventive Maintenance Services at the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 7. The Q&A clarifies key contract terms negotiated between the vendor and the awarding company.

The solicitation covers preventive maintenance and extended warranty services for 69 ceiling lift units over a one-year period, with the contract unit designated as 1 YR rather than individual unit quantities. Key negotiated modifications include: monthly invoicing in arrears upon completion of inspections, potential amendment to remove or modify language regarding after-hours emergency service billing at prevailing rates, and replacement of the standard 24-hour service reporting requirement with digital reports to be supplied every Monday following contract initiation until completion, with reports submitted the next business day if Monday falls on a holiday, excluding the week between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day. The document notes that monthly payment splits of the annual contract value can be discussed if requested by the awarding company. Submission requires completion of the SF1449 form, and only SDVOSBs pre-identified by Guldmann will be considered for award.

Q&A: Guldmann 3G extended warranty

1. Invoices – Page 4 of 46 We would like to request: Monthly in arrears invoicing as inspections are completed. Is it acceptable?

· Yes, upon final decision of awarding company, we can add to the final contract.

2) Requirements – Page 5 of 46 Can you remove the following statement? After hours emergency services will be billed at prevailing rates?

· Upon final decision of awarding company, we can amend this statement.

3) Progress and Compliance – Page 6 of 46 Can this be added? Digital reports will be supplied every Monday after contract initiation until work is complete for the Annual Inspections. If said Monday falls on a holiday the digital forms will be sent to the POC provided the next business day. Excluding the week between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.

This would replace: Service reports shall be provided to Healthcare Technology Management within 24 hours of completing service. The report shall include complete details of all work performed.

· Upon final decision of awarding company, we can amend this statement.

4) Price and Cost and Delivery Schedule – Page 16- 17 of 46 On the price cost schedule and delivery schedule, shouldn’t the quantity be listed as 69 EA/per unit?

· No, the correct unit is 1 YR. However, if the awarding company would like for the year to be split into monthly payments, that can be discussed.

5) But it is to cover 69 units for that one-year period, correct?

· Yes, all 69 units are to be covered for the 1-year (12 months) unit requested
