About this file
This document is a Solicitation/Contract for Guldmann Patient Ceiling Lifts Preventive Maintenance Services and Repair issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System. The contract is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for preventive maintenance and repair services for Guldmann GH3+ ceiling lifts located across multiple VA facilities in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama, and Columbus, Georgia. The solicitation covers maintenance for approximately 193 ceiling lift units, with services including annual preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, parts replacement, and comprehensive equipment servicing to ensure proper functioning and safety.
The contract is structured as a five-year firm-fixed-price agreement, with a base year from March 2, 2026 to March 1, 2027, and four optional years extending through March 1, 2031. Maintenance must be performed by Guldmann-certified technicians and include detailed documentation, testing, and compliance with national standards such as NFPA-99, OSHA, and ISO requirements. Technicians must respond to service calls within two hours and complete on-site repairs within 24 hours. The solicitation requires contractors to have current Guldmann service certifications, specialized diagnostic tools, and the ability to maintain these complex patient handling systems across multiple VA healthcare facilities.
