Description of Requirement
The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care system (RHJ VA HCS) has a requirement for Veterans seeking kidney transplant at RHJ VA HCS to have an extended stay hotel for their post-transplant care. Veterans who are transplanted at RHJ VA HCS will need to remain in
Charleston for 4-6 weeks following their transplant and standard hotel accommodations are not suitable for this length of time. This will be a fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity
(IDIQ) contract as there is not a set number of nights or Veterans established. The quantity suggested is an assumption of RHJ VA HCS Performing 20 kidney transplants per year, but this number may change.
