About this file
This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source from the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 7 for construction period services (CPS) related to elevator deficiencies design at the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center. The VA intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Apogee Consulting Group as the architect-engineer designer of record (DOR) for post-award activities associated with the construction contract.
The services include construction submittal reviews, responding to RFIs, executing design changes, and attending site visits and construction meetings through July 3, 2025. While the design contract is 100% complete, CPS services are needed as construction continues. The opportunity falls under NAICS code 541330 with a $25.5M size standard. Other capable firms may submit capability statements by January 17, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST explaining how they could operate effectively in the same footprint as the AE contractor. The government will use responses for market research to determine if competition is warranted, though no solicitation is planned and no reimbursement will be provided for responses.
