About this file
This document is an Amendment A0001 for Satellite Cable TV Services Questions and Answers, pertaining to three Veterans Affairs (VA) locations in Georgia: Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center, Fort McPherson VA CBOC, and Trinka Davis Veterans Village CLC | Carrollton VA CBOC. The amendment changes the submission due time from 9/12/2025 09:00 EST to 9/12/2025 2:00 PM EST. Each location requires satellite cable TV services with varying TV counts (500+ at VAMC, 40 at Fort McPherson, and 60+ at Trinka Davis), currently using DirecTV as the signal provider. Common requirements across locations include interest in a VA information channel, chaplains network for simulcasting services, and Getwell Network integration for patient room TVs. All locations are experiencing service limitations due to government purchase card regulations and have recently dealt with infrastructure challenges, such as a lightning strike that damaged splitters at the Atlanta VA Medical Center.

3. Do you have VA information channel just a TV channel guide, chapel channel, and need a channel for auditorium events relevant to patients
4. Chaplains network Need new digital equipment or integration on headend for a channel because old analog channel amp died recently. No patient has viewing access to chapel services from their rooms currently because of the broken equipment that is obsolete and unreplaceable.
5. Getwell Network Over 300 TVs on this network. They take the IP and programming info from headend and program that so their TVs can
6. All current services are working now. Currently a lightning strike took out many of our splitters in Feb 2025. We have been able to get about 80% of our viewing TVs back for regular and Getwell Network. Still need a full infrastructure upgrade to ensure we have OTA as a back up for live channels in case we have this issue again in the future.
