Responses to Vendor Questions/Concerns for:
AHU Filter Preventive Maintenance / 36C24725Q0177 / Columbia, SC VA Medical Center
No information will be provided about the past or current contract.
1. Is there a final list of the filters, the filterlist.docx does not open from the pdf and the file in the solicitation is labeled "test copy".
The PDF in the solicitation labeled “Test Copy” is the final list of filters.
2. The Requirements say 1 time replacement but the CLIN mentions quarterly with a final filter install yearly, for clarification, is this service required once or 4x a year.
The Hepa filters and final filters need to be changed yearly the pre-filters need to be changed quarterly
3. Are all AHU/Filter locations on the roof or are there ground units and indoor units as well.
One unit on a roof that would be 27 all other are in Mechanical Rooms
4. Will any special equipment be required to service any of the filters such as a boom lift, or special tools to remove panels.
No special tools required to change filters.
