QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

QUESTION: Period Performance is a regular base + 4 option periods, but price/cost schedule shows only the base year. -Assuming a new schedule will be posted with the Q&A

ANSWER: I posted an amendment immediately after realizing the option years were left off.

QUESTION: Under point 1. Requirement it says: reimbursement will be on a cost-per-delivery run basis.

-The Cost/Price Schedule however shows a unit price by year. Will this be changed to a more detailed schedule?

ANSWER: There are no known deviations from the schedule. Any changes will be handles by Logistics.

QUESTION: Will there be a separate line item for STAT runs?

ANSWER: There is not a separate line item for STAT runs.

QUESTION: STAT courier services to any required business for a 25-mile radius (VA owned or other) for a maximum of 50 trips per year. ness for a 25-mile radius (VA owned or other) for a maximum of 50 trips per year. Emergency calls may be made at any time, day or night to include weekend and holidays. When a request is made for STAT courier service, the response time for pick-up is less than one hour from time of the call.

ANSWER: The STAT requests should be added into the overall cost/bid. The government should only pay for the STATs used in the period of performance and will reflect on the invoices sent by the vendor.

QUESTION: The only question we have for this solicitation is, in the 50 average 'stats' per year, are any of them from any of the Georgia locations and do they come back to Charleston or is there a closer facility where the 'stats' would be delivered?

ANSWER: The STAT pick-ups and deliveries are normally for all locations. They are for lab specimens with a high priority processing need.

QUESTION: Should each line item be broken out per specific clinic delivery? For example, we would list out each delivery location with the cost per trip.

Sample: Hinesville CBOC—138 miles—$XXX.XX per trip

Will that be sufficient for this RFP? If so, should a total be provided with the assumption that there will be no more than 50 trips per year per location or 50 trips per year for the entire contract ? 2. On page 2 of 102, in the “deadline” section, there is a statement that Page 5 of 28 must be returned. Page 5 of this package is a blank page. Was this supposed to be page 4, Standard Form 1449? If so should each clinic with the costs be listed on that page?

ANSWER: There is no specific cost the government agency sets to each location. The Vendor is responsible to conduct a cost analysis with the information provided to use as their bid. In regards to the STAT requests; these should be added into the overall cost/bid. The government should only pay for the STATs used in the period of performance and will reflect on the invoices sent by the vendor.

Disregard page 5 What is the Award ID of current contract? 36C24722C0172 QUESTION: What are the number of miles between each pick-up and delivery locations?

ANSWER: Reference Statement of Work QUESTION: What is the cost of the final full option year of the previous contract?

ANSWER: BASE YEAR- $229,474.00 TOTAL

QUESTION: What’s the name of the previous awardee’s? (Who is incumbent contractor) ANSWER: Concierge Transit LLC QUESTION: What are the maximum weights for the supply pickups?

ANSWER: 70 lbs QUESTION: How many approximate boxes per location?

ANSWER: 10-30

QUESTION: Is this a new contract?

ANSWER: NO

QUESTION: How many drivers are currently being used?

ANSWER: 5

QUESTION: What is the weekly, monthly, or annual estimated trip volume for trips in the total, and/or as-needed trips per contract location?

ANSWER: See Statement of Work QUESTION: On all the locations below can you please specify the pick up time drop off time?

I see that some location says 2hr and 36mins.

Are all pick up and drop off "before 4:15pm" or should be 4:15pm? and delivery is prior to 6:30pm.

ANSWER: REFERENCE THE PWS/SOW
