About this file

This is Amendment 0002 to RFQ 36C24626Q0930 issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, for HVAC Preventive Maintenance and Repair services at Hampton VA Medical Center.

The amendment extends the offer receipt deadline from September 9, 2026 to September 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST. It provides a revised Statement of Work and updates the scope of preventive maintenance (PM) equipment to a specific list of HVAC systems and components across multiple buildings at the facility. The PM scope has been significantly reduced from the original solicitation, with offerors required to use only the revised equipment list when preparing proposals. Equipment not listed must be excluded from submissions. The amendment also clarifies that specified Air Handling Units (AHUs) are included in the contract for emergency repair only, and the $2,500.00 materials cost allowance does not apply to AHU repairs unless troubleshooting is involved. A site visit sign-in sheet from September 3, 2026 is included. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.

Amendment to update due date for all offers to reflect 9/16/2026 by 12pm EST.

Amendment to provide a list of all attendees from Site Visit held on September 3, 2026.

Question: During the site visit today the COR stated that specified Air Handling Units (AHUs) are included in the contract for emergency repair only. The contract states that “all parts, labor, oil, and other materials, required to perform this contract will be provided by the contractor up to a total cost of $2,500.00”. Does this apply to the specified AHU’s when repairs are quoted, specifically is the VA stating that the $2,500 deduction should be applied to quoted for these AHU’s?

Answer: NO, the $2500.00 will not apply to the AHU’s unless trouble shooting is involved.

If Troubleshooting is required, then the $2500.00 will apply to the task.
