About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a Department of Veterans Affairs electric breaker testing contract (Solicitation Number 36C24626Q0114). The contract involves electrical equipment testing at multiple buildings, with 175 breakers ranging from 100 to 3000 amps across voltage levels of 208 to 480 volts, located in Buildings 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 17, 18, 20, 21, 31, 42, and 43. The incumbent contractor is J & B Hartigan, with the previous contract valued at $197,446.60. Key testing requirements include primary injection testing for breakers 225 amps and higher, oil and electrical testing for liquid transformers, and working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The amendment provides clarification on scope, quantities, and testing specifications, and addresses questions about the contract requirements.
