About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a VA Hampton pedestrian crossing sign installation project. The project involves installing 30 single-post pedestrian crossing signs, with the contractor responsible for all sign design files, drawings, and graphics. The contractor must comply with the VA Technical Information Library, PG 18-10 Signage and Wayfinding Design Manual requirements. The VA cannot guarantee a clean underground path, so the contractor will need to be prepared to address potential obstacles like old concrete, large rocks, or abandoned debris during installation. A site plan has been attached to the document, and the contractor is expected to correct any damages made during the installation process.
