About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Maryland Health Care System, for teleradiology services. The solicitation number is 36C24526Q0182, with the amendment dated January 23, 2026. The primary purpose of this amendment is to answer contractor questions regarding the solicitation and to extend the offer receipt deadline from Monday, February 9, 2026, to Monday, February 16, 2026, at 0800 EST. George Sherrin serves as the Contracting Officer, with Sue Lepore as the Contracting Specialist at Perry Point, Maryland.

The Questions and Answers section addresses four key inquiries: (1) there is no single incumbent contractor; the Baltimore VA Medical Center currently utilizes the VA National Teleradiology Program (NTP) for remote radiology interpretations; (2) Past Performance Questionnaires are due at the solicitation deadline of February 16, 2026, not the previously stated March 18, 2024; (3) BLS certification is required for radiologists providing interpretation-only services; and (4) the Government does not mandate a specific internal workflow for study prioritization, allowing contractors to utilize their own automated prioritization tools provided all required turnaround times outlined in the Performance Work Statement are met, including timely interpretation of STAT, inpatient, and routine outpatient studies.

Questions and Answers for Teleradiology Services

1. Is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these teleradiology services? If so, please provide the contract number.

a. There is no single incumbent contractor currently performing comprehensive teleradiology services under this solicitation. The Baltimore VA Medical Center currently utilizes the VA National Teleradiology Program (NTP) to support remote radiology interpretations when needed.

2. The Past Performance Questionnaire states a submission deadline of March 18, 2024.

a. Questionnaires are due at time of solicitation due date of Monday, 02/16/2026.

3. As this requirement is for teleradiology services performed remotely and does not involve direct patient care, please confirm whether ACLS/BLS certifications are mandatory for radiologists providing interpretation-only services under this solicitation.

a. BLS certification is required

4. Please confirm whether the Government has a preferred or required workflow for prioritization of STAT, inpatient, and outpatient imaging studies, or whether the Contractor may utilize its own automated prioritization tools. Our system automatically prioritizes STAT exams (including CT head stroke protocols) at the top of the worklist, followed by urgent MRI and inpatient studies, with routine outpatient studies queued accordingly to meet required turnaround times.

a. The government does not mandate a specific internal workflow for study prioritization. Contractors may utilize their own automated prioritization tools, provided they meet all the required turnaround times outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including timely interpretation of STAT, inpatient, and routine outpatient studies
