36C24524Q0713 Martinsburg VAMC Post Theater Maintenance Questions & Answers
1. The SOW references “spare parts inventory”. What is required?
The VAMC wants to ensure that the vendor can provide replacement parts timely.
Having a spare parts inventory of items will ensure that we do not have longer down times than stated in the SOW. The Vendor shall provide and install loaner equipment if repairs or replacements are to exceed forty- eight (48) hours and assistance in securing that equipment from a third-party vendor if necessary.
2. In the equipment list there is a heading “Equipment Warranty Active upon Installation/System Acceptance” and some additional equipment follows. What is the intent of the heading?
This equipment is specific to an upgrade that was performed post initial AV installation.
This line separates the added equipment installed and activated as part of the upgrade.
This line can be ignored and simply differentiates the equipment and warranty period of these items.
3. CLIN 3001 covers a period of 6 months. We assume that it includes 1 (not the standard 2) preventative maintenance visits. Please confirm.
We are contracting to have two preventative site visits per year. One 6 month preventive visit w/ extend 6 month option.
