# Question VA Final Answer
1 Per section 1.4 VA Facilities, of the PSRDM, "pharmacy does not specifically show up in the main three categorizations (critical, essential, or ancillary). The only time the word "pharmacy" is listed is under Table 1-5 Facilities with Varying Designations where it lists consolidated mail-out pharmacies (CMOP). Is this considered a CMOP or another type of facility within another categorization?
It is not considered a CMOP. The medical center falls under critical categorization in which the pharmacy is internal to the building;
therefore pharmacy is critical as well.
2 Per section 3.3 Standoff Distance, of the PSRDM, a minimum standoff distance is established -- 25 feet for essential and ancillary uses and 50 feet for critical uses. Is the Design/Build team responsible for the design and construction associated with these requirements? This would include fencing, bollards, reworking parking, building/site access, etc.
The current project is not funded to include any rework of the parking lot or driveways. Project scope is for the blast wall and any associated work with the air handler.
5 Please see attached .JPG, do you require any of these options for the safety rail?
