STATEMENT OF WORK

INFUSION SUITE #3C-07

Open Market Furniture Requirements 7 May 2026 526-26-002

James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center 130 West Kingsbridge Road Building 100 Room# GC-103 Bronx, New York 10468

I. JUSTIFICATION

The renovation of the Infusion Suite is located at James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx, New York 10468. The goal is to create an environment that not only meets functional needs but also provides a sense of comfort, dignity, and humanity to those navigating the complexities of illness and healing. The circular nurse’s station fabricated by Futrus allows the nurses to be centrally located with 360-degree view of all 10 patients at once and provides all the power/data required which is concealed for safety. The high-pressure wood laminate is light and warm to give a comforting aesthetic as well as being anti-microbial and durable(scratch-proof). The Corian solid surface worksurface and transaction top provided is standard for healthcare use and is also anti-microbial and durable(scratch-proof). Additionally, the open market hospital curtains offer unique design and patterns and are recommended within Infusion Suites which should have attractive graphics and not being institutional, providing a more comforting environment.
