About this file
This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for Cooling Tower Service at the James J. Peters (Bronx) VA Medical Center. The amendment extends the offer receipt deadline from December 9, 2025, to December 10, 2025, at 4:30 PM EST, and provides detailed responses to vendor questions about the cooling tower maintenance project.
Key project details include servicing 8 cooling towers with model number NC8411UAN4CGF, requiring comprehensive maintenance activities such as oil changes, vibration analysis, and cleaning of fill sheets. Contractors must follow Marley Operations & Maintenance requirements, perform lock-out/tag-out procedures in the boiler plant, and provide before and after pictures of the work. Additional specifications include OSHA certification requirements for personnel, use of VA hospital trash equipment for debris removal, and flexibility to work on multiple cooling tower cells simultaneously, with the critical condition of maintaining plant demand throughout the service period.
