About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 at Bath VA Medical Center. The amendment modifies solicitation number 36C24226Q0118, originally dated May 15, 2026, with an effective date of October 21, 2026. The contracting officer is Danelle Wassink.

The sole purpose of this amendment is to revise Performance Work Statement (PWS) Section 7.2.1.1 regarding accessibility requirements for a Homeless Chronically Homeless Veteran (HCHV) Community Engagement & Recovery (CER) facility. The amendment reduces the required percentage of accessible HCHV CER beds from 33 percent to 30 percent, which equates to 9 of 30 total beds. The revised requirement mandates that the contractor's facility must meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines for accessible accommodations for veterans with physical limitations or impairments. These accessible beds must serve both male and female veterans and must include compliant entrances/exits, bathroom facilities, and common areas. The revision emphasizes that veterans must not be segregated from the rest of the facility due to physical disability and must have equal access to treatment services, support, and common areas as other residents. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation, with the specific receipt deadline to be announced at a later date.
