DESCRIPTION: This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Small Businesses firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112. The Department of Veteran’s Affairs is seeking all small business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, of the following brand name or equal to requirement.

Salient Characteristics are as follows:
· Semi-automated, tabletop pharmacy packaging solutions should be compact in size and does not require a large footprint in the pharmacy. Maximum dimensions: 15” W x 15” Dx 14” H
· Software must include built-in safeguards for security controls throughout the packaging process and provides the capability for label customization, password controls, drug database management, bar-coding, compliance/error prevention, and report generation.
· Barcodes generated through MPI’s software must be Code 128 which is compatible with other major pharmacy and drug administration systems and assist the hospital pharmacy with compliance to Joint Commission Standards and National Patient Safety Goals.
· Must have a serialization feature allows users to print individual packages with a unique serial number and barcode in compliance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
