About this file

This document is an Amendment to Solicitation/Modification of Contract for fire damper testing and inspection services at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center and St. Albans Community Living Center. The solicitation (36C24225Q0555) is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office, with an extended offer receipt deadline of May 27, 2025, at 4:00 pm EDT.

The amendment includes responses to six vendor questions covering technical and operational details, such as the requirement for 10% access door installation, availability of as-built drawings, work hour specifications (normal business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm), and contractor responsibilities for infection control and HEPA cart provisions. The scope involves fire damper testing across two VA healthcare facilities, with service to be performed during business hours unless specifically approved by the Contracting Officer Representative. The solicitation observes 11 federal holidays and allows for potential work outside normal hours with prior approval.
