About this file
This document is a Presolicitation Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Syracuse VAMC regarding a sole source contract for a software program to track the restocking of medication trays in emergency code carts.
The VA intends to award a sole source base subscription contract plus 4 option years to Pharmacy OneSource, Inc. for its Simplifi+MedTrays software, which is an add-on to the Simplifi 797 platform currently used by the agency. The contract period is 9/1/2024 to 8/31/2029, with the option years provisionally dependent on evaluation. The software is needed to improve the pharmacy's ability to track expired medications, manage recalls, and analyze aggregate data, as their current paper-based process is hindering these capabilities. This award is sole sourced because Simplifi+MedTrays is seen as the only product that can integrate efficiently with the existing Simplifi 797 platform and minimize additional staff training. Responses are due by 8/4/2024 at 4:00 PM ET and shall be submitted via email.
