About this file

This document is a VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting - Certificate of Compliance. It outlines the subcontracting limitations that apply to service and construction contracts awarded to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127(k)(2). The limitations restrict the amount that can be subcontracted to firms that are not VIP-listed SDVOSBs or VOSBs, ranging from 50% for service contracts to 75% for special trade construction contracts. The certificate requires the offeror to acknowledge the requirements and agree to provide documentation to the VA to demonstrate compliance during contract performance and upon completion. The related federal contract opportunity is for a VA project to replace flooring in a surgical suite, with a solicitation number of 36C24224B0007.
