Solicitation 36C24220Q0955 – Clarification Questions and Answers Question 1: As it relates to pricing the bird jobs- assume that this is tied to just trapping and removal? If this is exclusion work, it is dependent on the materials and area to be treated and will require us to survey and do a proposal. If trapping and removal, then no problem in quoting a price.

Answer: It will be trapping and removal.

Question 2: There is a line for rodent removal. As rats/ mice are included in our IPM program, can we put no charge on the bid? Just want to make sure this is not shown as non-responsive for this section or how should we respond? Or is this for a different type of rodent- like gophers, moles, etc?

Answer: Rodent removal is for rats/mice, just annotate in the rodent CLIN that it is included in the IPM program. Gophers, moles are included under CLIN 0007 Wildlife and Other Vertebrate Pests.

Question 3: Currently you have an odor program in your hospitals by your pest provider- will this be included in the scope of work?

Answer: No, it is not included in the Scope of Work.

Question 4: Can you please define what you are looking for in terms of express warranty?

Answer: If you are referencing to the Express Warranty in the clause, it is the verbiage in the clause and if any express warranty applies, then provide the details.

Question 5: What are you looking for in a quality control plan? Communication plan or escalation in case of severe rodent issues?

Answer: Quality Control Plan consists of documented inspections of identified areas, treatments when necessary along with follow-ups. As we should be focusing on prevention and inspections more than treatment.

Question 6: We would like to know if the pest control technician would be required to be there for the entire day or just while doing the required pest control treatment?

Answer: Pest controller’s presence is only required while performing his/her duties at the site.
