36C24126Q0061 | Medical Gas Inspection and Certification | WRJ Questions & Answers

1. Can you please provide an inventory to include quantities as this will be helpful for us to determine time on site? An inventory of compressors, pumps, manifolds and oxygen supplies and which buildings they serve (if more than one building). Number of zone valves and area alarm panels, a count of master alarms, quantity of outlets and inlets. This information can also be found in a previous inspection report. Attachment 1 is last years report, and an inspection report from the recently renovated space in Granite. Below are totals of my count. Refer to attachments for further info.

Building Area Alarm Zone Valves Outlets/Inlets

1 6 24 68

31 9 43 441

39 2 27 70

2. What percentage of outlets are to be tested per year? 100%

3. Will there be a requirement for the outlets to require cross connection verification and/or tested for purity? Requirements should follow NFPA 99 standards. In my research, yes, cross connection verification is required for medical gas systems annually.

4. Can you provide the manufacturer, model and serial number for the med gas system? For the newly renovated area, building 31 1st floor, manufacturer is Beacon Madaes.

Model/type – Total Alert Infinity.
